One of the capital’s favourite restaurants for romantic dining, Tutto Il Giorno Romantica (known as simply Romantica), has recently undergone renovation aiming to offer its clientele an unforgettable experience in a space that boasts a modern aesthetic for lunch and dinner. In the courtyard, drinks are served at the outdoor bar from early afternoon until late at night in a space full of greenery and fine décor, which bears the signature of interior designer Elena Antoniou. Romantica offers various dining options throughout the day. At lunch, dressed in white tablecloths it serves a menu with Cypriot specialties, cooked or grilled accompanied by salads and pasta. The lunch menu is designed to cater for the needs of business people who are looking for a quick option in a tasteful environment. At night, the wooden tables are filled with aromatic oils and the dinner menu is based on traditional Italian cuisine. Choose from the seabass tartare, the basil risotto, grilled vegetables, pasta with homemade Milanese sauce and mozzarella, the stuffed chicken wrapped in prosciutto and the range of fish. The bread is served with a range of olive oils, and is made (as well as the desserts) by Umami under the supervision of chef Pericles Rosounides.
