It was about time a new Italian restaurant opened up in the capital. At Piazza Italian Bar & Restaurant, you’ll indulge in authentic Italian flavours. Served fresh from the wood-fired oven, their pizzas are truly one of a kind. Try the Quattro Formaggi, Mama Mia with mozzarella, sausage, salami, olives, mushrooms and green peppers and their specialty, Discovolante with bacon, mushrooms, green peppers and thyme. For starters try the bruschetta with avocado, basil and cherry tomatoes, oven baked courgettes from Tuscany sprinkled with thyme, rosemary and parmesan and the ravioli with salmon and seafood sauce filling. The salad menu includes the Caprese salad with avocado and Rucola with rocket, pomegranate, sundried tomatoes and parmesan. There is also a range of risotto and pasta dishes as well as steak and other main dishes. Accompany your meal with wine, the list includes Cyrpiot, Greek and Italian labels. For dessert opt for the semifreddo and the traditional panna cota. Open Mon-Sun only for dinner.
