“Ousia” in Greek means “essence”. And this is what you are going to taste when you come to this little café-restaurant, opposite the Mediaeval Castle in Limassol. Options include freshly made salads using a variety of interesting ingredients such as the exotic salmon and very interesting dishes inspired by Mediterranean cuisine such as falafel with tabbouleh salad, octopus, marinated in coumandaria wine and pink peppercorns and fresh trout served with sautéed vegetables.
Or you can enjoy a cocktail, beer or wine and eat some tapas or even desserts (the Ousia mahallepi – a variation of the traditional Lebanese dessert – is very good)
