Cicchetteria Italiana

Relevant News

An Italian breeze is finding its way onto a street in Limassol, gently caressing an old and revitalised mansion. At Cicchetteria Italiana you will taste all things Italian. Don’t let the name fool you – “chiccheti” in Italian means small bites served in “bacari” taverns or chiccheti bars in Venice – because dishes featured here are indeed hearty and can function as main dishes or shared plates for small groups. On the menu you have chiccheti for starters, such as bruschetta with mozzarella and prosciutto or octopus carpaccio. Pasta dishes will naturally follow, with macaroni imported from Italy by the restaurant – they import all their ingredients – for example, Sorrentina and Carbonara. You ought to try fresh ravioli, lasagna, cannelloni and gnocchi. If you love risotto, there are combinations like sundried tomato with spinach or mascarpone with salmon. Of course, you cannot have a banquet without pizza. They are all made from scratch, with special flour and pizza sauce from San Marzano tomatoes and mozzarella di buffala. You can have a pizza with prosciutto and rocket (arugula) or Venetiana. The rest of the menu features selections such as fresh tuna, Spaghetti alle vongole (pasta with clams) which arrive fresh straight from Italy, tagliata (sliced steak, rocket and parmesan) and beef in marsala sauce. Keep in mind that every week there are 2-3 new dishes on the menu. You can bring your dinner experience to a close with classic Italian sweets, such as tiramisu or panna cota. As for wine, there are about 200 Italian labels imported in collaboration with Fine Wine Boutique-Wine Bar in Limassol.

Open for lunch and dinner, Sunday closed. 292 Ayiou Andreou, Limassol, 25.100.500.
