Almar Seafood Bar

Relevant News

Almar restaurant, with the words “sea” and “soul” hiding behind its name, perfectly encapsulates the soul of the sea in a beautiful, tranquil environment. December 6th, the feast day of Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of sailors. On this significant day, Almar opened its doors at Mackenzy Beach in Larnaca.

The new city gem creates an elegant and relaxing atmosphere, just as if you were enjoying your stay in a luxury, seaside cottage, while the menu pursues you to follow your great, island instinct. Pantelis Demosthenous, Almar’s awarded, executive chef, is responsible for the amazing, modern fish dishes, aiming to create an exceptional culinary experience for the most demanding customers.

Guests may make a selection of fish and seafood demonstrated in front of their eyes, while the variety and quality of the fish can satisfy even the most demanding customers. If you want to extend beyond the traditional fish dishes, then you can definitely give a try to some alternative choices!  I highly recommend the appetizers, such as tuna tartar with pickled ginger, avocado mousse, saffron mayonnaise, or the lemon- chamomile jelly, all made by fresh ingredients.

An excellent, light option is the ceviche sea bass fillet, complimented by avocado puree, sweet and sour passion fruit sauce, peas and beetroot candy. Each detail is important for the unique texture of this glorious dish!

We were pleasantly surprised by bruschetta with anchovies and sardine, with crisp bread and the slightly sweet tomato sauce.

The freshly chopped rocket salad with goat cheese balls, roasted hazelnuts, artichoke hearts and sweet bergamot also caught our attention.

For pasta lovers: Frigoli seafood is ideal when it comes to pasta.

Do not forget to have pina crusta, a wonderful cocktail, while listening to chill-out beats.
