Paphos International Sailing Club (Paphos)
Paphos International Sailing Club (known as PISC), was formed in 1999 by a group of sailing enthusiasts living in Paphos, Cyprus. The purpose of the club is to promote all aspects of sailing and other boating within Cyprus and provide a framework where like minded people can meet, share their knowledge, talk about their common interests and have some fun.
It is not a requirement to own a boat to be a member of the sailing club, although most members tend to be British ex-pats living in Cyprus and have a keen interest in sailing. They now boast a membership of over 170 and about half of these own a boat in or around Cyprus. They are fortunate to have their own clubhouse located in the Geroskipou boat yard, (only a ten minute drive from the beach at Paphos) and their members now own over 20 sailing dinghy’s which are out on the water in and around Agios Georgios most Saturdays. Besides their organised social events, they meet every Friday lunchtime and ocassional Tuesday evenings for good food, cheap beer and to meet some new friends.

If you want to find out more, go down to the Paphos clubhouse any Friday lunchtime and introduce yourself to any of the committee members.
