Alona and Pelendri villages are hosting their annual zivania festivals in November, giving visitors the opportunity not just to sample the traditional Cypriot drink, but to see how it is made.
The festivals will be held in Alona on Sunday November 4 in Pelendri the weekend after — November 10 -11.
There will be traditional Cypriot music and dancing, an opportunity to try the warm ‘palouze’ (made of group juice), to buy products and to tour the two villages.
