During October there are so many interesting and special events to attend to in Cyprus. Are you a music lover or a food lover or are you just looking for a fun place to be with children? Anyhow we ‘ve got you covered.

Zoe Children’s Fair

Within the celebration of its 16 years of operation and offering, the Pancyprian Antileukemia Association ZOE co-organizes with the Community Police a feast of life for our little friends at the Acropolis Park on the 21st of October 2018 from 11am to 6pm.

Our little friends will be entertained by participating in various activities such as games, handicrafts etc. Games are provided by the community police and include inflatables, boats, remote-controlled cars and horses.
They will also be available for purchase food, juices and water.
It’s a chance for our little friends to learn about the purpose of volunteerism and the actions they can participate in. At the same time they will actively help to enhance the mission of the Pancyprian Antileukemia Associtaion ZOE.

All proceeds will enhance the services and programs that we provide for FREE to people who suffer from leukemia and other haematological diseases.

7th Children’s Cultural Festival – Sound, Light, Colours

The 7th Children’s Cultural Festival invites all kids to a special fair of culture, knowledge and entertainment. This year’s edition, titled “Sound, Light, Colours” will take place from the 19th – 21st of October 2018 at Limassol Marina’s ΤΡΑΚΑΣΟΛ Cultural Centre.

Enhancing creativity and imagination, this three-day event offers a rare opportunity to children to take part in inspiring activities and educational workshops. On Friday and Saturday at 19:00, visitors will also have the chance to attend a storytelling event hosted by renowned Greek singer Charoula Alexiou, who will be narrating “The Violin of Love”, a tale written by Cypriot author Nicolina Drakou.

The event is organised by Funraising Charity Foundation supporting children from economic and socially disadvantaged families. For more information, please call 99184144.

8th International Short Film Festival of Cyprus

Α long list of fiction, documentary, experimental and animation short films from across the globe will be screened at this year’s International Short Film Festival of Cyprus. Through this large selection of films, directed by Cypriot and international filmmakers, the Festival offers to the local audience the opportunity to enjoy the best of international short film cinema. Curated by Artistic Directors Ioakim Mylonas and Alexia Roider, the 2018 ISFFC edition also includes parallel events and screenings.

Organised by Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus & Rialto Theatre.

Larnaka International Food Festival

Within the framework of the International Food Day (16 October) and the International Month of Multiculturalism (October), we are organizing the “Larnaka International Food Festival”. The aim is to promote multiculturalism and to get acquainted with the tastes that exist between us. We want to broadcast social messages, as well as entertain local and foreign visitors.

The organization has no profit goal in itself, so part of the revenue will support a Larnaca charity. The various professionals will represent different cuisines from China, Thailand, Japan, America, Argentina, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Lebanon, Mexico, England, Cyprus, Greece and others. At the same time, there will be music from different parts of the world (from bands and Dj).
