Supreme Court rejects appeal in case of expropriation of Turkish Cypriot’s property

The Supreme Court rejected an appeal against the verdict in a case of expropriation of a property in Kouklia in the district of Paphos, property of a deceased Turkish Cypriot. The Supreme Court decided that correctly the court of first instance had ruled that the appeal submitted against the expropriation was submitted out of time since the lawyer and administrator of the estate was living in the government-controlled areas and had the ability but also the obligation to be informed about the state of the property, having been appointed its administrator.
