Former US first lady Michelle Obama has launched an online video series of book readings for children, the CNA reports, starting with “The Grufallo”, the story of a mouse that uses its brains and imagination to avoid the dangers of a forest, a fox and other predators.
The video series, titled “Mondays with Michelle Obama” will run until May 11 and are part of the PBS series KIDS Read-Along, and can be found on the Facebook page of Obama’s publishing house Penguin Random House, where The Grufallo is already available.
“I can’t wait to share the magic of storytelling with kids everywhere by reading a beloved children’s book every Monday,” Obama wrote on Twitter.
