The Met office predicts rainfall and snow in the mountains for the festive week.
Monday will be be mainly fine with intervals of increased cloud.
Temperatures will be 20 C inland and on the coasts and 12 C in the mountains.
Tuesday will be mainly fine, however increased cloud after noon may lead to showers. Temperatures will drop slightly.
Wednesday will be cloudy with localised showers and/or storms. On Wednesday night snowfall is expected in the mountains.
On Thursday there will be intervals of mainly fine weather and cloud. Localised showers and/or storms are expected inland and on the coasts and snow in the mountains. Temperatures will drop to a little below the average for the time of year.
