Police in Cyprus fined 166 individuals and two establishments over the past 24 hours for violation of measures aiming to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The Force had carried out a total of 13,021 inspections island-wide.
In Nicosia, out of 2,977 inspections 27 individuals were booked, while in Limassol 4,046 inspections led to 95 individuals getting fines.
In Larnaca, out of 1,298 checks 16 individuals and one establishment were fined, while in Paphos 14 individuals and one establishment were booked after 1,527 inspections.
In Famagusta, out of 1,391 inspections nine individuals were booked, while in Morphou 882 checks led to no fines at all.
In addition, Marine and Port Police carried out 98 checks and fined no one.
