Police reported 161 individuals and two establishments all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violation of measures aiming to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The Force had carried out a total of 10,608 inspections, the CNA reported on Tuesday.
In Nicosia, out of 2,233 checks 14 individuals were booked and in Limassol 2,839 inspections led to 82 individuals and one establishment getting fines.
In Larnaca, 1,660 checks led to 23 individuals fined while 19 citizens were fined in Paphos after 739 inspections.
In Famagusta, out of 1,423 checks 18 individuals and one establishment were fined, while in Morphou police carried out 918 checks and reported two individuals.
