Police booked 109 citizens and one establishment owner all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for breach of restrictive measures aiming to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The Force had carried out a total of 9,686 inspections, according to the CNA.
In Nicosia, out of 2,078 checks 12 citizens were booked, while 1,634 checks in Limassol led to 52 citizens and one establishment owner getting fines.
In Larnaca, out of 1,583 checks 21 citizens were booked, while in Paphos 1,204 checks led to 10 citizens getting fines.
In Famagusta, out of 1,287 checks 11 citizens were booked and out of 902 checks in Morphou no one was fined.
Moreover, Port and Marine police carried out 54 checks without booking anyone.
