Police arrest 19-year-old in connection with child pornography

Cyprus police on Monday arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with possession and distribution of child pornographic material.

EUROPOL alerted the Cyber Crime Combating Unit on the 19-year-old’s alleged illegal activity back in November. And an arrest warrant had been issued since then.

He was arrested upon arrival to Cyprus at lunchtime on Monday.

A mobile phone in his possession has been confiscated as evidence.
