A 20 year old man was found stabbed to death on a beach in Chlorakas, Paphos, philenews reports.
It said that according to initial reports, the victim is a Syrian national.
It is believed the murder occurred on Friday night.
Police went to the scene much later after being notified that two other people, also Syrian nationals, had gone to Paphos Hospital with injuries, the website said.
The Cyprus News Agency said police have issued arrest warrants for two Syrian nationals aged 25 and 22.
It said that according to initial investigations, there was a fight between two rival groups over a ‘matter of honour’.
The scene has been cordoned off.
