Paphos General Hospital kitchens remain closed after five members of staff tested positive for coronavirus following a repeat test.
Dr Iosif Moutouris, scientific director of the hospital told CNA that the area has been disinfected but remains closed at the instructions of the state health services organisation (Okypi).
Food is being purchased from the private sector pending the reopening of the kitchen.
The hospital was disinfected also after a member of the cleaning staff tested positive for coronavirus, the third member of the cleaning crew to test positive.
There are currently five patients in the ward for suspect cases — three women aged 50, 75 and 82 and two men aged 77 and 83.
Moutiris said that on Easter Sunday, the A&E department handled a number of non-coronavirus related cases, some of whom were treated and discharged and others admitted to private hospitals.
