Another elementary school in Cyprus was vandalized overnight on Monday as a small number of parents continue protesting against mandatory mask wearing by students aged six and over.
This time the vandalism took place at Ayios Spyridon primary school in “Universal” area in coastal Paphos.
They spray-painted slogans such as “No to our children wearing face masks”, “We are not sheep” and “freedom or death” on the walls, floors and windows of the building.
The protesters are also against the government’s decision for rapid tests at all elementary schools.
Elementary schools in Nicosia and Limassol districts have also come under attack by protesters who are very critical of the confederation of parents’ associations as well.
Because the confederation fails to oppose the government decision, not realising the significance of this.
