Police on Thursday arrested and detained a 26-year-old man for fireworks possession after a search was carried out in a container in coastal Limassol.
Inside the container they found two cardboard boxes containing 228 ground-launched fireworks, Philenews reports.
Investigations are ongoing in Limassol’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
