A 26-year-old Bangladeshi man lost his life around 10 in the evening on Thursday in a road accident on Salaminos Avenue in central Nicosia, police said.
Md Sunny Hossen’s moped crashed head-on with a car driven by a 22-year-old woman who seems to have tried to make a U-turn. He was rushed to Nicosia General Hospital but his death was instant.
Traffic police are calling on anyone with useful information on the fatal accident to come forward.
