As of last night a yellow warning for high temperatures is in place.
Specifically, according to a press release by the Meteorological Department, the warning is valid until 16.00 today, Sunday. It says that on Sunday the maximum temperature will rise to around 40 degrees inland and to around 32 over the Troodos highest peaks.
