The Cyprus Department of Meteorology on Thursday issued a yellow warning for high wind.
It is in effect from 16:00 local time till 4:00am on Friday.
“North-westerly winds force 8 Beaufort will be affecting mainly the western and northern coastal areas of the Island”, says the warning.
