A yellow warning for severe thunderstorms all across the island will be in effect from 5pm till 8pm, according to a Meteorological Service announcement on Tuesday.
Earlier on Tuesday, cloud will alternate with sunny periods up until mid-day but isolated showers are on the forecast in the afternoon along with very strong winds.
Fine dust in the air is also on the forecast.
The whole week is expected to be rainy, along with snowfall on the highest peaks of Troodos mountain as of Wednesday morning.
