The Department of Meteorology issued a yellow warning for isolated heavy thunderstorms all across Cyprus.
The warning is in effect till 17:00.
“Isolated heavy thunderstorms may affect the whole area of Cyprus,” it said.
“In that case rainfall rate may range between 35 to 50 milli-metres per hour, while hail is also likely”, it added.
