A 31 year old woman has filed a complaint with Paphos police that she was kidnapped and held against her will and assaulted for four days by her former partner, philenews reported on Thursday.
She told police that she managed to get away when the 24 year old man was asleep.
The woman said she had lived with the man from December 2018 until February 2019, but after they broke up he allegedly became violent.
She said the man had entered her house illegally four days ago and taken the keys to her house and car, effectively turning her into a prisoner. He also allegedly assaulted her.
She was taken to Paphos Hospital where doctors found she had bruises under the eye and on her thigh. She was given first aid and discharged.
Paphos CID are investigating.
