Woman arrested after Turkish-label pills found in home

A British woman permanent resident of Cyprus is under arrest after police found 20,000 Tiromel pills with Turkish language labels in her home in the Limassol district.

Tiromel — a thyroid hormone — is not licensed in Cyprus.

The search of the 53 year old’s house was carried out on Thursday by  police and officials from the Health Ministry.

They found 200 packets of 100 pills.
