Police on Monday went looking for a woman who abandoned her car after crashing into a railing.
According to traffic police, the woman lost control of her vehicle, under conditions which are being investigated, on the Kantou-Omodos road near the junction towards Pachna, and crashed into the railing, around 07:30 am.
After escaping without injury, she left the site of the accident and texted her father to say that she is in good health, without disclosing her location.
Fire service arrived at the scene of the accident as the car turned over onto its roof.
Police managed to locate the woman around 10 am on Monday.
