Weather: Mainly fine with possible scattered showers in the afternoon

Tuesday will start off mainly fine but increased local cloud at noon and in the afternoon may lead to scattered showers, mainly in the mountains.

Temperatures will be 21 C inland, around 20 C on the coast and around 10 C in the mountains.

Tonight will be partly cloudy. Temperatures will be fall to 8 C inland, 10 C on the coasts and 2 C in the mountains.

On Wednesday, intervals of increased cloud are expected to lead to scattered showers and possible thunderstorms. Temperatures will be remain at the same levels, which is about average for the time of the year.

Thursday will be partly cloudy and at intervals mainly cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms forecast for the afternoon. There may be light dust in the atmosphere in the afternoon. Temperatures will edge down but remain close to average for the time of year.

Friday will be cloudy at intervals with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. There may be light dust in the atmosphere while snow is possible in the higher Troodos peaks.

Temperatures will fall to below average for the time year.
