The sixth season of the Netflix documentary series Inside the World’s Toughest Prisons will include an episode on the Cyprus Central Prison in Nicosia.
Presenter Raphael Rowe and members of the crew visited the prison in Ayios Andreas in December to shoot footage and conduct interviews for the documentary.
The new season of the show will premiere on September 28 on Netflix.
On Thursday, Rowe posted the trailer for the new season on his Instagram account. The video shows scenes filmed in Nicosia, including a marriage which took place in the Cyprus Central Prison.
