The Cyprus Medical Association has summed up its advice to the public on the eve of the easing of the lockdown with a simple message: Wash hands – Keep distance – Wear masks.
In an announcement in anticipation of tomorrow’s first phase of the gradual relaxation of the restrictive measures, the CMA said that a new normal is beginning, and this means new habits.
It called for collective responsibility and discipline by everyine so that everything that has been achieved do far is not undone.
The new habits it said are: washing hands well with soap or alcohol, keeping a distance between us and avoiding contact as we move around and finally always wearing a mask when entering an indoor, crowded space.
These measures are effective if implemented by everyone, it said and called on businesses to adopt strict protective measures and ensure their implementation to protect clients and employees.
