The first vaccines against COVID-19 will arrive in Cyprus on 26 December and the first vaccinations will take place the next day at the Famagusta General Hospital, which operates as a Reference establishment, and at old people’s homes.
According to the Health Ministry, the Health Minister and European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety Stella Kyriakides will receive the first badge of vaccines.
