A section of the Limassol-Nicosia highway near Governor’s Beach which had closed for about two hours on Saturday morning after a large quantity of oranges fell from a truck has reopened, police said in a new announcement.
Earlier on Saturday morning, police said that the section from the Ayios Georgios Alamanos exit to the Governor’s Beach exit was closed and that traffic was being diverted on to the old Limassol-Nicosia road.
The road has since reopened. Drivers are urged to be careful.
