A girl reported missing from her home in Ayia Napa has been found and is well, police said on Saturday.
Police had issued an appeal to help find the 16 year old on Friday saying she had been missing since Thursday night. They had said at the time that were investigating a possible abduction.
On Saturday they announced that she had been found, was in good health and that suspicions raised about a possible abduction had not been substantiated both from police inquiries and what she had told police.
Police thanked all those who helped find the teen.
