A 39 year old man arrested in connection with 28 burglaries and thefts committed in the town and district of Limassol in the period of March 2011 to January 2018 was remanded in custody on Wednesday
The total value of stolen property is estimated at €112,873
Limassol police said the 39 year old was linked to the cases after his DNA was taken following his arrest a few months ago in connection with a house burglary. That case is before the courts.
They said that in the 28 burglaries, the perpetrator would gain access by breaking the glass, injuring himself and leaving his DNA at the crime scene.
The suspect denies any involvement.
