A wooden boat carrying 40 refugees safely arrived at Protaras after an operation by Cypriot authorities its safe towing and transportation to a port.
The boat which carried 40 people on board, was spotted by Cypriot radars, close to Protaras.
The nationality of the passengers is still unknown but it is suspected that they are political refugees.
Civil Defense and the Migration Department have been already mobilised to provide care and receive testimonies.
