Police in Paphos found and arrested yesterday the 29 year old Syrian man who was wanted in relation to assault and robbery of a 27 year old woman, philenews reports.
The woman had filed a report with the authorities earlier this week. According to her statement, as she walked out of her flat on Sunday noon a man pushed her stealing her purse which contained some cash, bank cards and personal documents, and then fled.
The suspect has been remanded in 3 days custody by the Paphos District Court.
Paphos police are investigating.
