Panayiotis Soteriou, 56, died late on Friday after he lost his balance and fell from a ladder as he was cleaning the roof of his house in Monanagrouli.
The victim was cleaning the roof and pergola at his house with a hose when he fell about 3 metres, and hit his head on a stone plant basin.
He was rushed to Limassol Hospital where despite doctors’ best efforts he succumbed to his injuries. Police have ruled out foul play. A post-mortem will be held on Monday.
