UK to Cyprus scheduled flights more than double as of Monday

Relevant News

Tourism prospects in Cyprus are on the rise now that the U.K. government will scrap its requirement for a ten-day quarantine for arrivals from amber list countries such as the Mediterranean island.

This means that, from Monday onwards, travel to and from the U.K. will be much easier throughout the summer and latest data from Cyprus’ two international airports is proof of that.

Specifically, flights from the UK to the Cyprus almost more than doubled since from 37 scheduled for the week of July 12-18 the number has increase to 84 in the week of July 19-25. Up until Thursday evening, a total of 56 had been scheduled.

The fresh data by Hermes Airports was posted on its website on Thursday, with the new flight schedule based on information received till the 14th of the month.

The official launch of flights from the United Kingdom and TUI Airways in Cyprus is set for next week.

Under the previous schedule, which was posted on the website of the airport management company up until Thursday, TUI flights would start flights the week of the 26th of the month. But they are now speeding up the process.
