Two young people on Sunday evening died in a horrific car accident on Strovolos Avenue in Nicosia.
Driver Maria Kelesidou, aged 21, and co-driver George Athanasiou, 23, died after control of the car was lost, then overturned and entered the opposite lane before crashing head on with another one.
The 47-year-old woman driver of the second car was slightly injured.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident with speeding appearing to be one of the factors.
