The Paphos district court on Sunday remanded in custody for four days a woman for a case of misused identity.
According to the Paphos spokesman, on Saturday a woman went to the Paphos Airport to travel to Rome. She had a French passport which was genuine but the photo on it looked nothing like the woman who presented it. The woman was remanded in custody.
Also, on Sunday, a very similar case occurred with another woman who went to the Paphos Airport to travel to Germany. The woman presented a French ID card but the photo on it was not hers. She was also remanded in custody.
Investigations continue.
