Two women were arrested in Limassol on Thursday on suspicion of embezzling €120,000 from a municipal day care centre.
Under arrest are a 41 year old employee and a 71 year old volunteer. They were arrested after a complaint was filed by the mayor of Athanasios, philenews reported.
The centre is missing €120,000 that was raised from tuition fees, contributions and revenue from events between December 2013 and 2018.
