Two new parks in Paphos will be inaugurated on Friday afternoon but the 7pm ceremony will be low profile due to the pandemic, Philenews reports.
The parks are named after two highly esteemed literary figures – poet George Seferis and writer Andis Hadjiadamos.
“George Seferis” park is located on Alamanas, Atlantidos and Edessis streets while “Andis Hatziadamos” park is on Xanthis Street.
They are close to one other and both are part of a wider network of a total of nine parks created in recent years by the Municipality of Paphos.
The overall project’s cost is 890,000 euros.
