The Health Ministry reported on Friday two deaths from COVID, 5,048 new cases and 180 hospitalisations.
Total deaths rose to 638, total cases are now 166,827 and the positivity rate stands at 2.98%.
A total of 169,476 tests were carried out today (rapid and PCR).
Of the 637 deaths 405 are male (63.5%) and 233 female (36.5%) and the median age is 76 years.
The Ministry said that 79 patients are in serious condition or in an ACU of whom 28 are intubated, six are in ICU and 45 in ACUs.
