The Health Ministry reported on Friday two deaths from COVID, 2,907 new cases and 218 hospitalisations.
Total deaths rose to 740, total cases are now 266,823 and the positivity rate stands at 2.48%.
A total of 117,045 tests were carried out today (rapid and PCR).
Of the 740 deaths 462 are male (62.4%) and 278 female (37.6%) and the median age is 76.2 years.
The Ministry said that 61 patients are in serious condition or in an ACU of whom 27 are intubated, six are in ICU and 28 in ACUs.
