The Health Ministry reported on Friday two deaths from COVID, 2,587 new cases and 208 hospitalisations.
Total deaths rose to 726, total cases are now 248,941 and the positivity rate stands at 2.35%.
A total of 110,201 tests were carried out today (rapid and PCR).
Of the 726 deaths 452 are male (62.3%) and 274 female (37.7%) and the median age is 76.2 years.
The Ministry said that 68 patients are in serious condition or in an ACU of whom 30 are intubated, three are in ICU and 35 in ACUs.
