Famagusta District Court on Sunday ordered a 44 year old Greek Cypriot man remanded in custody for two days in connection with an assault with a knife on a 41 year old Bulgarian in Ayia Napa on Friday
Police said the Bulgarian had reprimanded a neighbour and later the same day had gone to a kiosk where the neighbour had assaulted him, stabbing him three times in the head.
The victim was taken to hospital, given first aid and released. The suspect was arrested in Ayia Napa on Saturday,.
