Acting on a tip off, police yesterday stopped and searched a 25 year old and a 30 year old who had visited various jewellery shops in Larnaca trying to sell a diamond ring.
Police found three other diamond rings in the possession of the 30 year old for which he could not give adequate explanations.
Both were arrested for illegal possession of property.
Larnaca police are investigating.
