Larnaca police have made two arrests after a 59 year old was assaulted and robbed as he was cycling on Archbishop Makarios Avenue on Wednesday evening.
He told police that he was assaulted by a group of seven people who threw him to the ground and stole money from his wallet.
He was taken to Larnaca Hospital for first aid treatment and discharged.
Police later arrested a 26 and a 24 year old in connection with conspiracy to commit an offence.
