Police booked 25 individuals and four establishments all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violation of measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
They had carried out a total of 914 inspections, and most fines were handed out for not wearing face masks.
In Nicosia, 234 inspections were carried out, in Limassol 124, in Larnaca 145, in Paphos 152, in Famagusta 177 and in Morphou 82.
One individuals was fined in Nicosia, 11 individuals in Limassol, five individuals and one establishment in Larnaca, three establishments and four individuals in Paphos, three individuals in Famagusta and one individual in Morphou area.
