The Authorities in the non-government-controlled areas are carrying out work for the opening of another part of the fenced-off city of Varosha.
According to information, a bulldozer carried out work on Wednesday in from of King George Hotel and until Oceania building. Sun beds and umbrellas have also been transferred there.
This is where the Faliro Restaurant used to be located before being demolished. It is an area of around 600 meters.
It is reminded that in 2016 and 2017 two beaches opened in Agios Memnonas, the one initially only for members of the occupation army and then the other one for citizens of the non-government-controlled areas and of Turkey only.
